In keeping with the 2011 Hollis Old Home Days theme, "Hollis Town Tales," this
year we are presenting "Hollis Town Tails."
In place of the Pet Parade in the horse ring at Lawrence Barn of previous years,
this year the Humane Society for Greater Nashua invites all Hollis
residents with "tails" (dogs, cats, donkeys, cows, goats, llamas,
you name it if it has a "tail") to march behind the Humane Society banner
in the Tail Parade as part of the big Hollis Old Home Days
Parade.
The Tail Parade march with your pet is about 1 mile. You will
show your support for the Humane Society and show off your "tail" in
the grand Old Home Days Parade.
Tail Parade coordinator Lennel Stroud notes, "This could be one of the
new highlights in the Old Home Days Parade and will be a fun family event
that all 'tail' owners can participate in."
To register your pet for the Tail Parade, or for further information,
please contact Lennel Stroud at 603-465-7020. We look forward to seeing
your "tail" in the Parade!
