Please consider donating goods or services to the Silent Auction at this year's Hollis Old Home Days.  The Silent Auction is our leading fund raiser.  Your donation brings positive name recognition to your business and shows your support for Hollis Old Home Days, the town's most beloved and well-attended event.

Hollis Old Home Days has a tradition of bringing the community together each year for a welcome celebration of our home and heritage in Southern New Hampshire.  The volunteers of the Old Home Days committee plan all year long to bring this celebration to local residents.

Old Home Days has traditionally been a two-day celebration.  However, this year (like last year) we are having an additional "Family Bracelet Night" for the amusements, which extends the event from Thursday, September 15th to Saturday, September 17th, 2011.  The regularly scheduled activities will remain on their Friday/Saturday schedules including: the teen dance, carnival rides, demonstrators and booths of interest to the community, plus ongoing live entertainment.  Saturday kicks off with the Old Home Days parade and continues with the many scheduled activities including Cow Pattie Bingo, the chicken BBQ, balloon rides and the closing fireworks display.

On Saturday, the Silent Auction occupies the Lawrence Barn for viewing and bidding.  Those who participate come back late in the day to increase their last minute bids in hopes of acquiring their prized Silent Auction item.  The fun of the Silent Action has become one of our most successful fundraising activities.  As a business owner, you receive excellent name recognition and visibility for your contribution to this Hollis town event.  The Silent Auction is made up of contributions of all sorts of goods and services that have been donated by businesses and individuals.  There are handicraft articles from various artisans, antiques and other valuable material from private citizens, and goods and services usually donated by businesses.  The business donations can be in the form of gift certificates or actual materials.  We count on your generosity to continue bringing Old Home Days to the Town of Hollis and we are asking you to consider making a donation for this year’s Silent Auction, today.

• Merchandise.  There are two options:
  • We would be delighted to pick up your merchandise donation for the Silent Auction.  Just contact Judy Mahoney (please see below).
  • You may drop-off your Silent Auction merchandise donation at RE/MAX Properties, 2 Ash St., Hollis (at Four Corners across from the Dunkin Donuts).
