The Hollis Fire Department Children's Fire Muster is one of the most
eagerly anticipated children's activities at Hollis Old Home Days.
A fire muster is a long-standing tradition in the fire service, where
firefighters get together to participate in firefighting games. At Hollis
Old Home Days, the Children's Fire Muster is targeted at children ages
4-12 and takes place at Nichols Field at the south send of the track. The Children's Fire Muster consists of four different
firefighting games, all of which use real fire equipment provided by
the Hollis Fire Department:
Midnight Alarm
Bucket Brigade
Wet Hose Event
Wagon Race
The Children's Fire Muster is non-competitive, and every child
who participates receives a prize. It takes place at Hollis
Old Home Days on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 12:30pm-1:30pm. Please bring your kids and join us for the
old-fashioned Hollis tradition of the Children's Fire Muster.
