Artisans and craftsmen will be located in several locations at Hollis Old Home Days, demonstrating crafts and skills, many of them reminiscent of an earlier time in a New Hampshire town.  The demonstrations take place on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 10:00am-5:00pm.  Here are the demonstrations slated for Hollis Old Home Days 2011:

  • Cooper
  • Blacksmith
  • The Happy Hollis Hookers exhibiting their hooked rugs
  • Potter
  • Acapella Alpaca Petting Zoo
  • Hollis Art Society exhibiting, demonstrating, and selling their beautiful hand-made artwork and crafts
  • Create a Pet Rock at the Department of Public Works booth
  • Learn to make Homemade Root Beer! (1:00-2:00pm, Demonstration Tent)
  • Yoga Demonstration (1:30pm-3:00pm, BBQ Tent)
  • Learn to make Homemade Hand Lotion! (2:30-3:30pm, Demonstration Tent)
